Missouri River
The Missouri is about as good as it gets when it comes to fly fishing. There are 35 miles of fishable water starting right below Holter dam and ending in Cascade Montana. The fishing is phenomenal and the scenery is just as good. It is home to a variety of species but, as far as trout, we catch primarily Brown Trout and Rainbow Trout. It is a great destination for both the beginner and the expert angler.
Jefferson River
The Jefferson is a very scenic river that starts in Twin Bridges MT and flows to Threeforks where it meets up with the Gallatin River and Madison River to form the Missouri River. Although the trout numbers aren’t as high compared to other rivers it is still an excellent place to fish. It is home to Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Cutthroat Trout and the occasional Brook Trout.
